Regarding the Cast Announcement for “BLUE LOCK” The Stage – 5th STAGE

Thank you for your continued support of the “BLUE LOCK” The Stage series.

Today, we are pleased to announce the cast for “BLUE LOCK” The Stage – 5th STAGE.

In bringing this production to life, we engaged in careful and extensive discussions—under the supervision of the original creator, together with the director, producers, and all members of the creative team—on how best to portray the diverse characters of “BLUE LOCK” on stage.

As a theatrical production created and performed in Japan, we sought to cast broadly without restricting opportunities based on nationality. Throughout the casting process, we did not intentionally exclude or select performers on the basis of nationality, ethnicity, or race. Instead, we conducted a fair and inclusive selection process from a wide range of actors, placing importance on each performer’s suitability for the role and their ability to bring the characters to life on stage.

Furthermore, the costumes, hairstyles, makeup, and other visual elements presented on stage are not intended to imitate or replicate any specific race, ethnicity, or culture. Rather, they are artistic interpretations created to faithfully express the world of the original work through the medium of live theater.

Theater is an art form in which characters are brought to life not solely through an actor’s personal attributes, but through their physical expression, technical skill, and artistic sensibility. Our casting decisions were therefore made comprehensively, with an emphasis on each actor’s expressive abilities, suitability for the role, and their capacity to embody the spirit and presence of the original characters on stage.

With the utmost respect for the original work, we will continue to pursue the creative possibilities that only live theater can offer.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding and continued support.
